There were so many shops full of handmade and European things, but we didn't have a lot of time. She made us cappuccino. Then we hit the road. And equally endearing Ludwig. Emily's Blog: Day 7

http://emilyfuggetta.blogspot.com/2009/05/day-7.html

Thursday, May 21, 2009. Today I woke up late and Michelle and I went to check out her subject, a very cool mid-transition transgender woman named Sophie, who runs an English-language used book store. In the same area, we found a foto laden, a record store and a shoe store, but they were all closed for Father's Day, which in Berlin means "men get to drink and be raucous" day (there was much smashing of bottles and puffing of chests). But we're going to check it out tomorrow. . A subject at (long) last.

Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Once upon a time, there were three bears who didn't have a cottage or porridge or beds. They had a concrete pit in the middle of a city, where they leaned on rocks and heaved giant sighs of boredom aaalll day long, chewing on old tires and climbing quasi-trees for "fun.". But anyway, the  Fat Tire Bike Tour. 160;was awesome. Our guide, Blakely, was very friendly and made the tour interesting- not that it needed help being interesting! Berlin by bike is fabulous.

Emily's Blog: Mostly free day

http://emilyfuggetta.blogspot.com/2009/05/mostly-free-day.html

Monday, May 18, 2009. This is what color it is at 9:30 pm You can also hear birds. If I didn't know, I'd say it was morning.  . Michelle, Kelly, Lauren and I went to Charlottenburg and visited used bookstores and a vegetarian organic restaurant called Gorilla. On the way, we saw a wooden playground. . There were some cute shops, but most were either expensive or just sold foreign things. . And then we saw this funky art at the S-Bahn station. . And this Moroccan guy asked us where we were from. .

http://kellycatherinemclarnon2.blogspot.com/2009/06/day-29-ireland.html

Thursday, June 11, 2009. A little bit of exploring. A little bit of relaxing. A little bit of family. After a familiar breakfast of cereal, toast and hot chocolate,. Brian took me to newgrange. Newgrange is one of the three larger grave passages in ireland. It was built over 5,000 years ago. It is a mound-shaped tomb made up of stones. Historians don’t know exactly what it was intended for,. But their guess is that newgrange was a place for rituals and ceremonies or a place where they buried the dead.

Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Day 20: back in the ghetto. After checking out of kate’s hotel,. The four of us, including kate’s roommate, lindsay, headed to church. It was the first time we’d been since being in europe. And it was so good. We went to the hillsong paris church,. Which was about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Being able to worship the lord with a community of people was so refreshing and reviving. And being able to sing in french was so cool. After church, we grabbed some lunch. Funny thing is,.
