Curtains and Coming Home. April 3, 2016. The curtains in my room are pale blue. When I open the windows to let in a breeze, they drift and float, painting patterns of sunlight on my walls. I have spent almost eight months collectively in this room, looking at those curtains, watching the shadows lengthen across my floor each evening.
