I've really seen this birthday as a turning point from little kid to young man. He's growing braver, smarter, and stronger all the time. For his birthday his dad got him a BB gun and with his first shot he got a bull's eye! What a thrill. I'm so thankful for him. We were recently at the SAICFF.

Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! Last Friday was Dr. Seuss' birthday! The kids at school got to bring their favorite Dr. Seuss' book and wear wacky socks, etc. to celebrate his special day! Some classes even made green eggs and ham! On Thursday, I was informed we had a Cat in the Hat costume and that "I would make a great Cat in the Hat" ummm Are you sure? The kids either loved me or hated me! This weekend and picked up some beautiful beets from Riverview Farm. Often people throw out the greens, not realizing how tasty they are. I used some of our Pepper Vinegar Sauce.
