I'm just a girl in the world. Monday, February 26, 2007. Posted by Molly Woods at 1:18 PM. Thursday, February 22, 2007. I am going to go out on a limb and say maybe some of the best food i've had in Japan! The owner was a real salesman. Not that I think he was trying to be fake at all, he was just really gifted at chatting up all the customers. Lucky for us he was also a master chef! I have a few pics of the food and the people for your viewing enjoyment. :). The Poke Platter stands alone. And indeed I d...

I'm just a girl in the world. Tuesday, July 10, 2007. The ol' Red, White and Blue. That's right, as promised i'm back with my second installment of my tour de America. One of the best things I got to do while home was visit my UB (upward bound) students! It was so wonderful to see them, and see how much they have grown up! Overall, a real highlight in my trip home. I also spent lots of time with the family! No more than 10 minutes had past when I heard a firecracker explode right by my head! We won 125$ ...

http://missmollywoods.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
I'm just a girl in the world. Friday, March 16, 2007. In a crazy high pitched voice. I will miss my one boy who no matter day of the week it was said "have a nice weekend! And then broke down into hysterics. I will miss their funny attempts at making good english sentences and having them awkwardly try to say "you are so beautiful." To which i would respond "no, no, no.you are wrong." Then they would say, "ano.you are so pretty? I understand, I understand! Posted by Molly Woods at 8:34 AM. This is a Flic...

I'm just a girl in the world. Friday, November 24, 2006. I am totally doing everyone in the whole world a favor right now by giving you this information. I have found maybe the best Mexican restaurant, I mean, best restaurant ever. Since my move to Japan, I have found some savory morsels of Mexican food, but they are far and few in between my friend. This restaurant I found yesterday is a true gem. It is called Fonda de la Madrugada. It is located in Harajuku. Here is a review that I tend to agree with:.

I'm just a girl in the world. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. It's Halloween, sugoi. So as it would turn out, the schools in japan are not obsessed with Halloween. However, I find it almost preferable to America where we have a Halloween crazed society and now decide that we cannot celebrate it in the schools. I couldn't even draw jack-o-lanterns on the chalkborad last year in America! To which my student's response was "give me some candy! Excellent english, but i had no candy, haha). So it turned into quite ...
