Emily's International Teaching Adventures!: Summer in SoKo

http://www.emilyisteaching.blogspot.com/2010/07/summer-in-soko.html

Emily's International Teaching Adventures! On Friday, July 2, 2010. That is my album of most recent pictures in Seoul. There are some pictures from mountain hiking a few weekends ago in a national park, some of my kids, some of the musical, and a few of me bungee jumping last weekend. Tonight I am going on a boat cruise on the Han River to celebrate the 4th of July. I am going with a bunch of people from the cast and a lot of other foreigners will be on board, so it should be fun. July 3, 2010 at 10:18 PM.

Emily's International Teaching Adventures!: June 2010

http://www.emilyisteaching.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Emily's International Teaching Adventures! I am the very model of a modern major general. On Sunday, June 20, 2010. I realize it has been a little while since my last post, as my life has been consumed with work and the show. We had our last performance today. I would say overall it went really well, and especially impressive since we put on a show with only 10 rehearsals. I can't say I have ever done that before, and I think we all did a good job. That is all for now. Happy Father's Day to my dad an...

Emily's International Teaching Adventures! On Sunday, February 28, 2010. They played the Overture from the Barber of Seville, Brahms' Piano Concerto #1 and Dvorak Symphony #9. The piano soloist for the piano concerto was absolutely incredible, and orchestra played really well overall. The ticket came out to about $8, and they had free juice during intermission. Completely worth it. It's so good to have a supply of food now. We'll see how the day pans out. On Thursday, February 25, 2010. I found a website...

Emily's International Teaching Adventures! On Thursday, October 29, 2009. Estoy hablando en Espanol mas y mas cada dia. (I am talking in Spanish more and more every day.) I'm the one in the group with the strongest Spanish speaking skills, so I end up communicating with people the most often when we are getting around town. However, some of the other girls do know Spanish and speak a bit. I also learned how to help run lights and sound in the theatre today, as the M1's that Kerry has for registry (home r...

My Second Year Teaching in Korea And Exploring Asia. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Time Flies When You're Having Fun. Upon returning home from vacation, I had about a week to adjust back to Seoul life before my parents came to Korea for 5 days. They were only here one weekend. Day, which meant. I was usually meeting up with them after work, limiting our options on what to do. One night we went up the Seoul Tower and another night I took my mom to a 찜질방 ( Jjimjilbang. Meg and Rach in Seoul 서울. Teaching English by Day - Exploring the East by night. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Hey Hun - Will You Hold My Purse? Another interesting thing we've learned about dating is that usually only a few months after dating couples get a ring with each other.
