My name is Emily Koons. I am an artist who has been working primarily in beads since 2009. I am from the San Francisco Bay Area and feel that the diversity of the area has played a strong role in shaping who I am as an artist. Throughout high school I primarily worked on manga projects and didn't really branch out to individual paintings/ pieces until college. The puppet that inspired my beaded portraits.
