Thursday, December 31, 2009. Happy Holidays from Washington! Hal and I have enjoyed our extended break for the holidays as we both now work on academic calendars. It's been great to have so much time to relax, and explore Washington a bit. Wednesday, September 01, 2010. Kevin and Amber get married. Last week I had the opportunity to be the Best Man in the wedding of Kevin and Amber. Here is a look at the reception space that I helped decorate. The bride and groom rehearse some music that they would play at the reception. The Best Man and Groom back in the Chapel. Wednesday, September 14, 2011. We have had a busy summer in Washington! Here are the highlights:. Anna's parents came to stay for a few weeks and we enjoyed having them with us! Anna and Sandy were able to do some glassblowing at a local glass studio. They each made a bowl and glass. It was lots of fun! Thanks to Kristine, who bought the groupon for them to enjoy the studio. First we picked the colors that our pieces would be. Then the artist got the liquid glass from the kiln that was 2200 degrees.

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. We are settled back into life at home. Here are pictures of the puppies, who were so happy that we came back. Scout We started intermediate puppy class when we got home. He knows sit, wait, come, shake, down, leave it, drop it. And lots more. He working on "go to bed" this week using his new dog bed, which he is picking up nicely.
