Monday, February 6, 2012. Romantic Dinner for Two. For our Christmas gift this year the children gave us a coupon for a homemade dinner and a night on the town. This is a picture of the beautiful food they prepared. It was as delicious as it looks. They then treated us to the movies. We went to see Sherlock Holmes and when we came home the kitchen was immaculate! It was such a thoughtful sweet gift. I must admit my kids are great! February 17, 2012 at 2:58 PM. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Bear Lake with Oma and Opa. Last week I took the kids on an impromptu trip up to visit Oma. Mike and his family were there also. On Monday we had a perfect day at the lake. Mike drove the boat and pulled kids on the tube. The rest of the adults just hung out on the beach. The highlight of the trip for my kids was the "sniper shooting" instruction Opa. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Our Friend's tank pulling a covered wagon- ha ha :). Natalie riding with the Art City Royalty. Jake and Natalie are a members of the city's youth council and I am one of the adult advisors of this group. I chose not to walk in the parade. :). Every July 24 th. And her kids joined us for the festivities and her kids even rode on Mike's church ward's float. In the evening we sat on the lawn and listen to Ryan Shupe. The fireworks were incredible! What a fun day! Back to School BBQ.
