The Morings: Congratulations Matt!
http://emilymoring.blogspot.com/2010/12/congratulations-matt.html
Sunday, December 26, 2010. Three years ago Matt decided to go back to school to get his Masters in Information Systems. That was right before we found out that I was pregnant. He has persevered through so many obstacles while maintaining a great GPA. I know he wanted to quit several times but he kept going. I am so proud of him and excited for him to get to relax and not have to study any more! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer!
The Morings: November 2010
http://emilymoring.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 22, 2010. He shouted. He was so excited! The whole day was filled with fun. There was a train tent, a bubble station, live music, bounce houses, and of course a gift shop! Jackson was so brave and had his picture made with Sir Topham Hatt. Jackson had a passport that got stamped at each station. When he filled in all of his boxes he took it to the gift shop to collect his prize. He dressed up as Thomas the Train (could there be any other choice? We stopped at a friends house to trick or ...

The Morings: July 2009
http://emilymoring.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. It was a great way to see the animals without walking around the zoo on a hot day. Monday, July 20, 2009. While in Amarillo we stopped and ate breakfast at the Big Texan (Home of the Free 72 oz. steak! It was definitely a tourist trap, but a fun place to stop. Jackson loved all of the Texas sized decorations! Here's a picture just in case you are curious about what a 72oz steak looks like - CRAZY! It felt like Texas! Garden of the Gods. Jackson loved his light-up sword. The night ...

The Brown Family: June 2015
http://parkerandedenbrown.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 28, 2015. Our seats were pretty high up but the kids still enjoyed their first Broadway play. Eden may or may not have fallen asleep during the entire second half of the play but she still said she like it! The only thing that would have made it better is if they had served popcorn during the play! Our Girl's Afternoon Out wouldn't have been complete without a little ice cream on the way home! Thanks Aunt MerMer for a fun afternoon! Saturday, June 27, 2015. Friday, June 26, 2015. He always d...

The Brown Family: February 2015
http://parkerandedenbrown.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. Last night, our school hosted their 3rd annual Literacy Night for students and parents. My good friend, Emily, and I co-chaired the event and we had so much fun planning this year's event. We chose the theme "I Spy a Good Book" and asked all the teachers to dress up like Where's Waldo. We were so excited at how many teachers participated and I think it made the night so much more fun! The kids had a great time and everyone went home with lots of new books! Cory's lesson went we...

Six mile hikers- Meredith, Parker and Amy. Two mile hikers- Granstan, Granna. Eden, Taylor, and Lily. Crossing the finish line. After the hike, ...

The Brown Family: Colorado Vacation- Day 8
http://parkerandedenbrown.blogspot.com/2015/08/colorado-vacation-day-8.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Colorado Vacation- Day 8. All good things must come to an end. We spent our last day in Breckenridge soaking up as much of the nice weather as we could before returning to the 100 degrees they were experiencing in Texas. We took the kids to a local park for a few hours before lunch. It was so nice to sit outside and watch them play without having to worry about sweating! Next to the park is a little hiking trail that Eden went on with Granna and Granstan. I have been married t...

The Brown Family: Kids Bowl Free
http://parkerandedenbrown.blogspot.com/2015/08/kids-bowl-free.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. I wanted to take the kids for one last outing before I start back to school tomorrow so last Friday we decided to go bowling together. We signed up for the Kids Bowl Free program at the beginning of the summer but never got a chance to take advantage of the two free games of bowling for each kid. Lily started off using the dinosaur but quickly decided she was big enough to bowl without any assistance. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Cory and Ryans...

The Brown Family: April 2015
http://parkerandedenbrown.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. A Tornado Warning and a Few More Birthday Pics. The kids (and maybe their mom too! Were still pretty nervous after the sirens stopped blowing that we just moved all of their mattresses into the master bedroom and let them sleep on our floor. As I was trying to get them to settle down and go to sleep, Parker asked me what time it was. When I told him 12:05am, he got very excited and said, "So I'm officially eight years old? I'm sure it will be a birthday he will never forget!

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Last Friday, Eden was thrilled when she got to school and discovered that she had been chosen as the Super Super Grizzly for the week! This is her second time this year to be chosen as student of the week and she was so proud! She did a great job helping the principal with announcements and even introduced herself on the microphone. We are so proud of Eden and all the accomplishments she has made this year. It's hard to believe she will be a first grader soon! Baseball has starte...
