How do you like them apples? January 4, 2009 at 11:19 pm. I am officially done with chemo! Friday, the 2nd was my last one – yee-hah! I never thought I’d feel this way, but the time went by pretty fast – the holidays and kids’ birthdays probably helped. Tomorrow, I have an appointment with a radiation oncologist to get the official “no” that I don’t need radiation. I just need to hear it from him. And hopefully, he will deliver! Yes, they’re fake. My real ones tried to kill me! January 13, 2009 at 3:31 am. My mom found this on a t-shirt website – I dig it! Just a short one here. Last Monday, I asked for the official “no” and the radiation oncologist did not fail to deliver! I am NOT a candidate for radiation. Yay! And, my echocardiogram was normal! March 19, 2009 at 4:21 am. Ok so it’s been a month or so since I last wrote. I guess that’s a good thing, as I’m gradually reclaiming my life and am making a slow ascent out of this cancer “hole.” Anyway – if anyone is still checking on my blog, here goes…. My Aunt Tracy will be coming all the way from Cali to help me with the kids, house and stuff the following week. Thanks, Aunt Tracy!
