Grist to the Milne: The Most Guts
http://gristtothemilne.blogspot.com/2011/06/most-guts.html
Monday, 6 June 2011. I have totally made a short comic, which is available for very cheap. It is called 'Guts Power' and it is the gritty and realistic adventures of two unemployed folks in a plausible and inevitable alternate world. Expect muscles, transvestism, and slurk. Here are some preview images! It's 19 pages, including the cover, plus one blank back page. 20 pages! Perhaps if you want one, you could email me at pauljonmilne@hotmail.com, and we can sort out addresses and things?

Grist to the Milne: June 2010
http://gristtothemilne.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 28 June 2010. Here is a picture I am working on for myself (or for you? If you have money? Of a matador sort of guy and a kind of bull. It is not yet finished, but it will be soon! I like drawing, I think it is a not bad way to spend my time in this stinking Tory country. Sunday, 20 June 2010. Wasp Your Face In My Sink. I've had this image in my head recently, of a man with jars embedded in his chest, full of wasps or bees or something? One day I might draw this? Are we still cool? I live in Scot...

Grist to the Milne: Like A Real Artist
http://gristtothemilne.blogspot.com/2011/03/like-real-artist.html
Thursday, 10 March 2011. Like A Real Artist. I recently had a picture in Black Static issue 21. Accompanying the fantastically-titled-and-also-written 'Ulterior Design' by V.H. Leslie. Here's a small version of it all put together, looking braw! A bigger version of the picture can be seen here. The second picture down). When I was making this, I first made some sort of hideous MS Paint (I know! Perhaps I should have submitted that instead? Ocht, might as well show you the one I did for Black Static 20.

Grist to the Milne: March 2010
http://gristtothemilne.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 23 March 2010. Things I Can't Draw. For some reason, as long as I can remember, I have never been able to draw horses. Here are some fast sketches I made, to prove this. Of particular enjoyment is the distinctly un-horsey mutant monstrosity in the bottom right of the page. Next in this possible series? Things I cant draw. Tuesday, 16 March 2010. Here is a wee bit of a picture I am currently working on for Prefix. Illustrating the song 'Monster' by Lady Gaga. I am letting it bother me). I am Paul...

Grist to the Milne: January 2011
http://gristtothemilne.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 January 2011. Here's a picture of Tetsuo from Akira, that I drew purely for fun. It was all over-detailed and muddled, so I went round it with a thick pen, and it didn't really help. Image = failed. Oh well! Thursday, 13 January 2011. Seems I haven't posted here in quite some time! I've been doing stuff, I have! Got some work in Black Static and The Skinny and New Escapologist and things. Whooo! Also, my website's changed to www.cargocollective.com/pauljonmilne. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Grist to the Milne: April 2010
http://gristtothemilne.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, 19 April 2010. What If Gordon Ramsay Played The Joker? Then he might look something like this drawing of Matt Smith, the new Doctor Who, that I am working on for Bandwidth. Matt Smith is a lot of fun to draw, though. He has a compelling face. I have not seen any of the new Doctor Who episodes starring him, yet, as they are on on a saturday evening. Saturday, 3 April 2010. My Lady Gaga illustration has pure gone up at Prefix! The new Yuck n' Yum that I drew the cover for is available, too!
