Monday, September 22, 2008. With the start of fall today, I thought I would share one of my favorite pumpkin recipes. This is from my husband's family's cookbook. 1 (16 oz.) pkg. pound cake mix. 2 Tbs butter, melted. 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice. 1 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese. 1 (14oz.) can condensed milk (Eagle Brand). 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin. 1/2 tsp. salt. 1 c chopped nuts. She comes up with some of the funniest things and when she tells me about it she is so animated that there is no way to retell it and capture that animation. Thursday, December 31, 2009. My first resolution is one that everyone has. I really need to lose weight! I never lost all of my weight after I had Seth and it really is starting to bother me. I need to lose about 20 lbs. What is my plan for this? My first thing is to cut out my daily glass of coke. This is going to be so hard for me. I tried to get off of it before Christmas, but got really stressed out and tired of headaches and after a week I was drinking it again. How am I going to accomplish this?

Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Boy, getting back into the blogging habit has been hard! I really want to, but when I have time to sit and think - I'm too tired to think! Summer is going full force around here and I'm really not sure where June went. The girls both ended school great. Rachel ended second grade and had all "excellents" on her report card. She also completed her Gifted and Talented ISP - which amounted to her first research paper. Wow! I will be glad to have them at the same place next year.
