Emily S Geography

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Here we see the Honor Guard of the Lithuanian Army laying a wreath by a Jewish Memorial. In this picture you can see the stage where I saw my concert. This is Gediminas Castle on the Hill if Three Crosses. I am glad I purchased that roundtrip ticket that will stop in New York, then Charlotte. It will take 11 hours and 20 minutes, so wish me safe travels with Delta Airways. I had fun and I am ready to return home to share all of my new information. Ms Rawls and Students.

Emily S Geography: Dublin,Ireland!

http://emilysgeography.blogspot.com/2010/09/dublinireland.html

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Visiting Dublin, Ireland was a blast! I enjoyed the stained glass windows and gothic style architecture. The Dublin Mountains, also known as the Wicklow Mountains, offer multiple choices of recreation. I saw many of the Dubliners, natives of Dublin, hill walking, fishing, and Rafting. I photographed the highest peak, Lugnaquilla. It scrapes the sky at 3,039 feet high. These mountains are a rare and beautiful sight. In the picture you can see River Slaney. Ms Rawls and Students.

Emily's Garden

The Place Where Dreams are Cultivated. This is one of my personal favorites. On occasion, I’ll do lectures for local garden clubs and the like, but do I admit, not readily. The engagements require a bit of coaxing I’m afraid. The unrealistic 2 hour time slot of setting up, breaking down , performing the actual lecture as well as purchasing the materials needed takes place only after hours of prep work. My greatest attribute is creativity coupled with an imagination that just won’t quit. The tab...I thank...

German Travels

I'm spending this year as a language assistant in Germany, and thought I would document my adventures while I'm here. Friday, 31 May 2013. I came, I saw, I spoke German. So here it is. The Final One. The day that I have known was coming for many, many months, but the day I have been avoiding thinking about, choosing instead to pretend that my year abroad will carry on forever. Today is my final day in Germany. So, the Land of Hope and Glory awaits me. It is home time. Tuesday, 21 May 2013. In a way, I su...
