I've loved, drawn, and observed animals since childhood. Watercolor, ink (sold). This artist's book is based on the memoir. By long-distance swimmer and my personal hero Lynne Cox. Cox was only 17 when she encountered a baby gray whale off the coast of California. I used watercolor and passages from the book to create a visual narrative out of Cox's text.
