Archive for October 2015. Go to the Salt Flats. Find out what time the sun will rise and plan your arrival at the Salt Flats for 1 - 1.5 hours prior to that. Drive through the night. I recommend an engaging audio book or loud music to make it bearable at that hour! Oh, and chocolate milk. Arrive at the Salt Flats. It is dark. Jump down off the ledge from the rest area. You WILL feel like you've arrived on the moon. Hand off your blanket, your camera bag, etc. to your companion. And the stars SURROUND YOU.
