Lowcountry Musings: December 2011
http://obladfamily.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
The experiences and discoveries of a couple learning and living in the south. Monday, December 12, 2011. Asheville, NC - Biltmore House and Gingerbread Houses. My husband rocked Thanksgiving this year! He cooked the turkey, and made amazing stuffing and apple pie from scratch. We went to Asheville, NC for a short weekend trip Thanksgiving weekend- we went to a German restaurant for dinner one night, and my husband was in HEAVEN. It was pretty authentic. Stephen's beloved spaetzle, roladen and sauerkraut.

salty chelle (rambles on): I'm Baaaaaaack......
http://saltychelle.blogspot.com/2012/03/im-baaaaaaack.html
Salty chelle (rambles on). Oh my friends. It has been too long. Once again, I've been absent from blogland for an extended period, and once again I come back to you ready to take on the virtual world! I will refrain from making any promises about writing more regularly, since we all know that's very rarely the case, at least not for very long. I will say, though, that this most recent absence was due solely to the fact of my unemployment for the past nine months. You are thinking, quite empathetically.

Salty chelle (rambles on). Happy belated New Year readers! Can it really be that I haven't posted. Shameful. And I call myself an aspiring writer! And SO MUCH has happened that I should have reported here, to my 4 loyal readers, which after 2 months of non-posting, probably don't come back anymore anyway. And my first ever warehouse Christmas rollerskating party! And my friends who showed up dressed in Christmas skating finery (and drag)! Michelle H., foreground, looking like a hot elf on wheels. salty chelle (rambles on): Line of the Day: Fatalism
http://saltychelle.blogspot.com/2010/07/line-of-day-fatalism.html
Salty chelle (rambles on). Line of the Day: Fatalism. A friend was discussing her one major dream for her life with me this evening. You know, that perfect vision that you have where you're living exactly the kind of life you want to be living. Making money doing something you love. The whole deal. And then she followed up a recitation of all her fears about making this dream a reality with what is today's line of the day:. I said, there's not a whole lot I can say to that. The experiences and discoveries of a couple learning and living in the south. Thursday, September 23, 2010. Alligators, a grocery deal, and Jason Mraz. That was pretty cool. Hello, Mr. Alligator. It was really pretty and peaceful there. To do the self guided tour, you follow numbers that are posted on trees; it took us through lily pad fields (is that what you call them? It's crazy to see these tall trees growing straight out of the water. I love these flowers! Last time I saw these, I was in Hawaii.

Salty chelle (rambles on). Are any of you still with me? I've been a little distracted. Perhaps you noticed in more recent posts my mention of things really happening. For me lately, that my life was firing on all cylinders and improving in wholly new and beautiful ways. Which was true. And still is true. But, all good things must come to an end, and my whirlwind ride at the top of the wheel of fortune seems to be through for the time being. Posted by Michelle Cerutti. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Salty chelle (rambles on). Not Quite Out of the "Normal" Range. But Almost. Posted by Michelle Cerutti. Somebody's Gonna Lose an Eye. And by "somebody," I mean. So, I decided to solve at least one of my snowboarding problems and remove the glasses, and thus, the fog, from the equation. Contacts it is! My coworkers noticed my missing glasses and asked, and I explained. How do you like them so far? Mmm, not so much," I say. I don't believe him, but smile politely. Because that's how it goes at work. I remo...
