Is this real life? Monday, January 31, 2011. More photos. Request from Mom. Kind of random. Terry, Me, Cass, Alex. The Ion Shopping Center. Me, Kira, Emma, Cass clubbing. Chinese New Year decorations. Hawker Centers, A-R-A-B Street, and Holland Village. 23 Most of the population here lives in public housing. There are so many people here and such little space so they live in flats that are very tall. They are EVERYWHERE. I got a coconut and a plate of satay that I split with two other girls for my meal!

Is this real life? Thursday, December 16, 2010. Since I'm going abroad in the Spring (I leave January 17! I've decided to start a blog so that all of my friends and family can see all of the wonderful things I get to experience. Also so I can look back and reminisce. I obviously haven't left yet, but I had a dream last night about being in Singapore and I realized that I'm starting to get nervous! Nevertheless, I'm very excited. This is a picture of the skyline! Is this real life? Monday, February 28, 2011. I was sitting in my room studying when someone slipped a notice under my door to notify me that I had received a 'parcel'. My first thoughts were, "what's a parcel? Although we don't normally use that word in the states, I'm smart enough to figure out that it means package. I was extremely thrilled and ran downstairs immediately to go pick it up at my hall office! The package was from my friend, Nick, and filled with my favorite snack, Honey Teddy Grahams!
