Welcome to our travel blog. Come with us to China as we become a family of four. Thursday, August 31, 2006. Today was another amazing day with Brooklyn, and Edward and I are wiped out. I would say Brooklyn is almost completely attached to the both of us, and the heat rashes and mosquito bites on her face have about totally disappeared. We are still working on her building trust with Edward, but it's only been two days with her and we are over the moon with the progress. All of us at the table laughed.

Saturday, February 18, 2012. Heaven has gained one more angel…. December 11, 1934- February 17, 2012. She was 77 yrs old. My sweet mom went to live with her Heavenly Father yesterday. As sad as my heart is to lose her, I am joyful for her to be reunited with her son (my brother Rolf) who preceded her in death 26 years ago. I can only imagine the giddy joy he is feeling as he embarrasses her in his arms. . If you know her you love her. She has touched so many lives. . Momma I will miss you.

Saturday, December 20, 2008. A break from the snow. Today, the sun is shining and it's a warm 6 degrees here in North Idaho. All the roads are plowed now, so we ventured out and visited my Dad this morning. It's supposed to snow another 8-12 inches tomorrow, so getting out of the house was mandatory today. Thursday, August 31, 2006. The trip to Yakima was a success! My new buddies, adopting from Vietnam, picked me up at 5:00am sharp and off we went. 3 1/2 hour later we arrived at the Department of Immigration where it took all of 20 minutes to submit my paperwork and be fingerprinted.
