February 9, 2016. A few days ago when I was visiting the Abutia Torgbeve community Desmond and I heard quite the commotion over by the well. Me, being the most curious white girl in Ghana, had to go investigate. When I got there, I saw about 20 women wrestling over the well! They were stealing women’s water buckets and throwing them 10 feet away, pushing to get to the front of the line – one girl even straddled herself to the well so nobody could use it!
