Two Girls from Guangdong- and a Little Brother. Monday, June 27, 2011. Me to new Chinese hostess at our favorite Chinese restaurant: Where's Jenny (Jenny being the owner who has run the front desk for the last 12 years)? New Hostess: She is working at her other restaurant now. Me: That's too bad, We will miss her. My kids are Chinese and from the same part of China as Jenny and they really love her. NH: Oh, I thought you looked Asian! Me (a little startled): Oh, they are actually adopted from China.

Two Girls from Guangdong--and a Little Brother: July 2011
http://guangdonggirls.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Two Girls from Guangdong- and a Little Brother. Sunday, July 24, 2011. A Day with Grandma. My kids adore their Grandma. Each one of them absolutely loved Grandma and Grandpa from the moment they saw them at the airpot when we came home. There was some kind of zing, a connection, a planetary alignment, something that meant they were bonded in a special way forever. Sunday, July 10, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Journey to China for Macey and Our Life Here in Western Colorado. Friday, May 15, 2009. Here's she is before surgery, all giddy with medicine! After surgery, she looks pitiful. poor baby. Her eyes just look so worn out and tired. I'll admit she looked better than I had prepared myself for. Here she is today, her surgery was one week ago exactly! Eating breakfast and getting ready to jump on the bus to preschool! Can't contain this one! Our Journey to Leilah Grace. Sheri (Leilah Di's Mommy). Bad puppi...

The Geer Family: Coolest Mandarin Website
http://thegeerfamily.blogspot.com/2008/12/coolest-mandarin-website.html
Our Journey to China for Macey and Our Life Here in Western Colorado. Saturday, December 20, 2008. I stumbled upon this website last week and quickly became hooked! Not only does it have all the usual fare of looking up english to pinyin and characters, but it has one perk that I've never seen on anything else! It allows you to take a chinese characture that you don't know the meaning of and draw it into the website and nciku will find all the closest looking charactures! Hugs - aus and co. WEll; I have ...

The Geer Family: Spring is almost here!
http://thegeerfamily.blogspot.com/2010/03/spring-is-almost-here.html
Our Journey to China for Macey and Our Life Here in Western Colorado. Saturday, March 13, 2010. Spring is almost here! It just wouldn't be spring if my husband didn't have to drag the stock tank into the garage, now would it? Everytime I go to Murdoch's I come home with more chicks. I think its a sickness really! Hardly any of them laid eggs at all! So Derek's been watching which ones will stay and which will "go". nuff said. Can hardly wait to read about the turkeys. March 13, 2010 at 4:16 PM. Hugs - we...

The Geer Family: The Invisible Mom
http://thegeerfamily.blogspot.com/2008/11/invisible-mom.html
Our Journey to China for Macey and Our Life Here in Western Colorado. Monday, November 17, 2008. To all the wonderful mothers and fathers out there. It all began to make sense, the blank stares, the lack of response, the way one of the kids will walk into the room while I'm on the phone and ask to be taken to the store. Inside I'm thinking, 'Can't you see I'm on the phone? Can you fix this? Can you tie this? Can you open this? I'm a satellite guide to answer, 'What number is the Disney Channel? Cathedral...

http://guangdonggirls.blogspot.com/2011/05/two-picnics-in-row.html
Two Girls from Guangdong- and a Little Brother. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Two Picnics in a row. Yesterday we met some friends for a picnic in a park and then had our first experience geocaching - it was pretty fun! We found 7 of them with their help. The kids really liked finding "treasure." Charlie liked messing around with the GPS and I was just happy we got out and about and the weather was decent. Morning Betsy - nice updates! As for the purging of the stuff - great idea - good luck with it! Http:/ babel...
