It is sometimes hard for us to know how to get clarity about how what we eat might impact on how we feel, so why is that? If you are sleeping poorly it might be that you are taking caffeine on board too late in the evening (it has a half life of around 6 hours). I love food and I don’t even pretend that I never eat anything which is “bad&...If you ar...

My guide to losing weight and being happy! Have you lost your exercise mojo? January 27, 2017. Were you in a routine of regular exercise, and then now for whatever reason you have stopped? I came across a great quote the other day which is very apt if you have taken a step back and need to refocus. Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other 3 tyres because you get a flat. Http:/ www.peaseinternational.com. So, assuming your other 3 tyres are good let’s get back on track.

30 Low Sugar Days - The Kitchen Therapist
http://www.thekitchentherapist.com/thoughts/30-low-sugar-days
Food to make you feel better. 30 Low Sugar Days. April 21, 2014. Almost everyday we’re reminded how bad our diet is. Constantly we’re told to eat more fruit and vegetables, then we’re told to eat even more. The damage done by too much sugar in our diet is laid out in front of us relentlessly. All the while the world keeps turning we have ever more to do with seemingly fewer people to do it. Time slips away and there is scarcely enough to do everything we must do and a little of what we like. My experimen...

Food to make you feel better. Hot Udon Noodles with Beef. March 1, 2014. This morning I stood by the lake staring out across the sparkling water waiting to see the kayaks appear from around the headland. It was quiet, bright and cold which momentarily made me melancholic at the lack of genuinely crisp mornings this winter. I can’t be sure but I thought I felt a fleck of snow in the air. Then again it could be just wishful thinking. 1 fat clove of garlic. Thumb sized piece of fresh ginger. Juice of 1 lime.
