Thursday, August 27, 2009. A Little About Joshua. Our Agency CCAI's Waiting Child Department asked us to review 'Fu Da Shan's' file about 3 weeks ago. It only took us about a day to say that HE was our son. We had to follow the normal CCAA (China Center of Adoption Affairs) protocol and receive Pre-Approval before we could tell anyone that we had accepted his referral, and show him off. Joshua is from the Province of Henan, China and from the Jiaozuo Child Welfare Institute (Orphanage). 26 1/2 months old.

Wednesday, March 24, 2010. We are Officially waiting for our Travel Approval. We found out last Monday that the "Article 5" and all of our other Immigration paperwork was sent to Beijing from the consulate in Guangzhou. Which just means all of the Immigration paperwork is finally done. It is taking anywhere from 2-4 weeks to get the Travel Approval from the CCAA in Beijing (closer to 4 weeks, from what we have been seeing). Soon after the Travel Approval is issued, the fun begins! Thursday, April 29, 2010. Gettin Closer to Leaving! Jenn is done with work before we leave, and I have one full day on Friday, and half a day on Saturday at Church Work Day. I have been turning down business left and right :-(. But We are going to get Joshua and Bring Him Home. Here we come Joshua! Here is our Itinerary:. 5/4 - Leave U.S. for Beijing. 5/5 - Arrive in Beijing, Check In at Holiday Inn Downtown. 5/6 - Go to New Hope Foundation, where Joshua spent more than 2 years. Friday, March 12, 2010. I was helping Heather finish her report yesterday and in the mean time Kristen was making us lemonade. She then served us a cup of pure syrup lemonade and made sure she saved a cup of lemonade for daddy too. She was proud of herself for making us some refreshing lemonade (sigh! A day in the life of. ME! November 18, 2010. Meet my new sister! This is my new baby sister Josie Kate! She was born November 9, 2010 at 8:30pm. She weighed 6lbs 15oz just like I did! She is so cute! March 1, 2009. I have 2 loose teeth! I found out about my first loose tooth on February 9, 2009 when I went to the dentist. I got my 2nd loose tooth when I was on the trampoline. I was giving Boo and Maggie the password and the wind was blowing. I fell and my tooth got stuck in the net! January 6, 2009.
