emmainmedschool | My adventures in medical school, one day at a time!
My adventures in medical school, one day at a time! Advice for Past Emma. 1) Make time to do things you enjoy (and don’t feel guilty about it). There will always be something to study. If you studied every moment you were awake for your entire med school career, you would still have new things to learn. Don’t go out every night, but set boundaries and try not to let school. 2) Speaking of taking study breaks, make sure to sleep! Doctor. This is an entirely new level of education. You are going to...Now y...

Adventures in motherhood with my Rainbow Baby. What is a Rainbow Baby? Things I've Talked About. 24 weeks 1 day. 26 weeks 1 day. 35 weeks 5 days. 39 weeks 1 day. Chair and a 1/2. Silly things I have done. Monday, October 22, 2012. It's made me start thinking about what I want from this space. I'd like a blog I am 100% comfortable sharing with my family, but I need. It's definitely a work in progress while I figure out the ins and outs of word.press. It'll be rather slow as my down time is limited...My fr...

Sunday, June 3, 2012. America in Seven Words or Less. I am eating an avocado right now. Saturday, June 2, 2012. Day Seven Hundred and Twenty-nine. Sunday, June 3rd 2012. 8221; implies my utter ineptitude at all things life-related. Couple that with my elevator mishap, and you have a walking RPCV hot mess. At least I'm not travel-worn thanks to, wait for it, the free shower rooms in the Korean airport! Why does Incheon astound and amaze? Incheon sounds like "Inchworm". Day Seven Hundred and Twenty-nine.

Gud vilken dag. Har precis kommit till hotellet och är uber trött och har ont i huvudet. Men det har varit en väldigt bra dag, grymt varmt kom upp i kanske 28 grader idag och imorgon blir det runt 30.

Statement: Between the shadows and forgetting. Ash Island has undergone a number of occupations which have shaped both the occupants and the land. The 20 years of sheltered life that the Scott sisters enjoyed allowed them to expand their knowledge and skills into professional careers, which sustained them long after their departure from the island. My art practice tends to deal with a distant world; my landscapes are from the pages of art, history and myth. Between the shadows and forgetting. The viewer ...

From the Middle to the Far East | Life as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Jordan and Mongolia
From the Middle to the Far East. From the Middle to the Far East. A snapshot of 27 months living and working as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Jordan and Mongolia. July 13, 2015. Sally, Hana and I pose with Sally’s host mom (who, coincidentally, made our beautiful dells! These women are dressed in “royal” garb. My Mongolian host mom and I pose for a picture in the middle of the Naadam stadium. Because I’m still not entirely sure what was being eaten; meat is, unfortunately, as accurate as I can be. Now You’re Cookin’! Now You’re Cookin’! 3) Headaches. Let’s not forget the three solid weeks of unending migraine. That was the best time ever. 8) You think the best part about being pregnant is getting a seat on the subway. If no one offers you a seat (which 99% of the time they do not) you quickly get over any sense of etiquette you think you have and start asking people to trade with you. Back with Big News! My Running Career Is Officialy Over. He suggested cycling and swimming. I guess my spin sh...
