Last week the girls made ornaments for all the grandparents. This is an annual tradition. Each year we do a different kind of ornament. One year we did salt clay ornaments, another year was shrinky-dinks, and this year we did painted wooden ornaments. And they love the Zhu Zhu Pet game! Twas The Night Before Christmas Book.

We got two precious little babies and have loved an nurtured them since they were about 7 weeks old. My girls have become such good buddies with them. Red roses are actually the way to my heart and my husband has learned that lesson well. However, there is another little "flower" that steals my heart in a completely different way.
