They told me that the resident did want to have an epidural line in place, and I set myself up for that pain. I pushed once, in the horrible and awkward lie-on-your-back-and-pull-yourself-up-by-grabbing-your-legs way that I guess is normal with an epidural? The team didn't know that I hadn't found out the *** at the ultrasound. The neonatology fellow said "OH! I mean, it's a boy!

Friday, August 31, 2012. Just so Mormon that I HAVE to comment. I was interested to see what Ann Romney's speech at the RNC would look and sound like. I thought she did great, she obviously wanted to support her husband by humanizing him/making him more accessible, the crowd seemed to love her. There were a few sentences that were just grammatically weird or flat-out incomprehensible. ("We're too smart to know there aren't easy answers" - wait. One Adventure after Another. Sunday, May 30, 2010. This last Thursday the young men in our ward left our local church in Tucson, Arizona a little after 6:30 am to head to Lake Powell. Warren Rustand, a member in our ward graciously let us use his house boat, motorboats, and jet skis that he rented. If one person jumps off a cliff, so does everyone else! Dana Willis and Scott Evans continue their tradition of doing back flips on trips they take. I couldn't help but laugh because that is exactly how I felt.

One Adventure after Another. Sunday, March 21, 2010. Our kids survived nearly four hours out in the sun as we went to the different aircraft parked on the tarmac and watched the different aircraft stunts and maneuvers. Here Gabs gets to try on an oxygen mask. Erik loved climbing all over the aircraft and trying to press buttons. These were some of my favorite planes. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the simulated bombings done with the A-10 Thunderbolt II, the upper plane. Links to this post.
