Well, Zac is 14 months old now, and is walking everywhere! His tooth count is officially up to 9, although I think he is working on 10, 11 and 12. We have so much fun with the little rug rat! Every year, the Annual Marshmallow festival happens in Ligonier, Indiana over Labor Day weekend. Zac got to attend his first one where he saw the cool old cars, and received a free bag or two of Marshmallows for attending! In fact, I think he may have been attacked by the Marshmallows! It looks like he wants to eat some, doesn't it? Uh ga a mushmawwow shtu in my mouf, mommy. And vote for Sanders!

The Windy City exploits of a couple of Purdue alumni and their pup. Monday, May 11, 2009. As most people who have been here to the house know we have a rooftop deck where we entertain all summer long. One portion of the deck was built by the original contractor and we built the larger portion ourselves. We finally determined that the original "contractor" portion needed replacing. What does she know about fun? Here is a photo of the first plank being screwed into place! 4 - 8ft 4x4's. 10 - 12 ft 2x4's.

We have been busy with this, that and the other this summer. Here are a few pictures of our recent escapades. Last night we were at the Sox game (27th row behind home plate - thanks to Joel and especially to his mom for those tickets! Last weekend was Retro on Roscoe - lots of food and bands. We had a great time there and ran into lots of friends too!
