The World to Come, by Dara Horn - There's Nothing Like a Good Book
https://emmareads.weebly.com/1/post/2012/01/the-world-to-come-by-dara-horn.html
There's Nothing Like a Good Book. The World to Come, by Dara Horn. Shortly after I began reading. The World to Come. A friend asked me what the book was about. As I wasn’t far into the book, I answered, “A stolen painting and its provenance.” Ostensibly that is the premise of the book, however it is about so much more. It is an exploration of faith, an examination of relationships, an immaculately imagined fantasy, and yes, a little bit about a stolen painting. Create a free website.
The Help by Kathryn Stockett - There's Nothing Like a Good Book

There's Nothing Like a Good Book. The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I loved every page of this book! The voices, the stories, the history, the friendships, the hatred, and the harsh reality it presents. It would have been easy to read through the entire book quickly; it is well written and extremely engaging. But I found myself limiting how much to read each day; I wanted to savor every word and moment. Your comment will be posted after it is approved. Create a free website. Create your own free website.

Resources for Internships and Jobs. Books read in June. July 6, 2015. The Versions of Us – Laura Barnett. I adored this beautifully written ‘what if’ novel. Barnett’s writing is so assured and wonderful, seamlessly navigating all three storylines, she’s a natural storyteller and tells this with huge heart. Hugely recommended; a real triumph. In the Unlikely Event – Judy Blume. Books read in May. June 6, 2015. Hausfrau – Jill Alexander Essbaum. I Let You Go – Claire Mackintosh. Great, accessible writing t...

Posted by Eric at 4:39 PM. I got a new swingset that Daddy put together in the back yard for me and Wesley. Posted by Eric at 1:57 AM. I sure do love fries with my ketchup. Oh yeah, I can say "cheese" now too! Posted by Eric at 12:50 AM. I had my first birthday party last week. That's right. I'm one now. I'm taking a few steps here and there. I'm also happy about mine and Wesley's new puppy. Ok, so here's the pics of my birthday party (both of'em):. Here's the little cake that Mom and Dad let me eat.
