Friday, 24 July 2009. Click image to enlarge to full screen). This Bluebird Badge was inspired by a beautiful Antique Embroidery my Nan and Grandad bought me on a family trip to Snape Maltings. My Dad helped me design the badge on the computer and I added the words ' ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL'. I find the colours and patterns on birds inspiring and love to watch them in my garden. There are so many different shapes and sizes. I often watch the baby Wagtail being fed with bugs. They measure 55 mm.

On Saturday me and mum did a Vintage and Modern Fair in a hall on Market Hill in Woodbridge. My mum had a stall which you can see in the photo above with her printed. We have got a tea cloth hanging on the front of the stall to show what they look like for. Chair printed tea cloths. People bought the tea cloths and said " My daughter will like this for her kitchen ". Ice - cream badges.

Tuesday, 4 August 2009. This is my vegetable patch which I look after everyday weeding and watering. I had a free packet of Joules carrot seeds with my Joules magazine. I pulled one of the carrots out to see how they were growing. This one is looking good. My first crop of my tasty carrots. This was enough for three meals. What a lovely colour, wow. Cross Stitch Crazy 2014. Cross Stitch Crazy 2015. Sunday, 16 August 2015. I made a beach cover up using McCall's 6569, View H (size 20). The fabric is white georgette. I found that this was a difficult fabric to cut and sew due to it's delicate nature. It slipped a lot so there was plenty of cursing from me.
