Thanksgiving in Vero Beach is a wonderful event for cruisers. With inexpensive moorings and being rafted up with like minded people, the community is strong. Hundreds of cruisers shared a terrific potluck Thanksgiving dinner. In Vero Beach, we were rafted with two other catamarans, "Valkyrie" and "Slow Mocean". Sunny and Blake on "Slow Mocean".

As it turns out, the parade organizer here was more than accomodating. He put the girls in with The Oriental History Museum group. The girls rode the 1 1/2 mile parade route by themselves (because they are big girls now). Their only request was "Mom and Dad, please get some candy for us.". Miakoda in the News. I’ve had a tough year medically (not to do with the transplant) and once my transplant was done and I healed which happened pretty quickly other things took over and I wasnt thinking about my graft – which in a way in probably a good thing!
