Rebekah's Writings: Working
http://rebekahswritings.blogspot.com/2015/04/working.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Coolest car I ever owned. Our plan was that I would go back to my job in endoscopy when we returned back home, towards the end of 2009. While it was a difficult adjustment to be home full time with 2 kids, now ages almost 5 and 3, by the time we moved back home, I was kind of enjoying it. . 15 years later, still BFF’s. 160; That’s not to say that I am not doing work outside of the home. I am currently on the board for Called to Love Ministries. RAGE against the MINIVAN}.

Rebekah's Writings: Surprise Conversation
http://rebekahswritings.blogspot.com/2015/03/surprise-conversation.html
Friday, March 27, 2015. It only took a mere moment for the question to be asked. Shad and I stared at each other across the table, each willing the other to speak first:. I was reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid and he said that he tries to avoid teenagers because he doesn’t want to catch puberty. What does puberty mean? Shad was the first to speak:. It’s when you start to grow hair in your armpits. Josh and Hannah start giggling. And on your legs. Hannah (thinking she’s so smart):. Uh, yes you will. Shad an...

Rebekah's Writings: Hannah’s 9
http://rebekahswritings.blogspot.com/2015/08/hannahs-9.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. Today we celebrate this girl, right here. Hannah Elizabeth is 9 years old today. For her gift, we re-decorated her bedroom, inadvertently making it look like a pre-teen’s bedroom. What was I thinking? She chose this nightstand so she would have a place for her CD player, books and a shelf for her Lego Friends sets. We chose curtains to match the quilt her Grandma Connie gave her last year. 160; You are so close to getting to the top of the rope at the gym! Happy birthday, Hannah!

Rebekah's Writings: Thanks A Lot, Rick and Dave
http://rebekahswritings.blogspot.com/2009/08/we-have-officially-lived-in-desert-for.html
Monday, August 24, 2009. Thanks A Lot, Rick and Dave. We have officially lived in the desert for 16 months now, and in 7 weeks we are going to pack it in and head back home. So I have been thinking about all the new things Shad, the kids and I have been able to experience since moving here. I have had 2 conversations with complete strangers about how to manage irrigation on the farm and the challenges that come with it. Both were within the first 2 weeks of living here! When you live in a dry climate you.

Rebekah's Writings: Parenting Fail
http://rebekahswritings.blogspot.com/2015/07/parenting-fail.html
Thursday, July 2, 2015. This time, though, I got an idea. When I shared it with Shad he agreed that it was, indeed, a pretty good idea. Before we left the house we told the kids that we were going to play games and get tickets, but, instead of spending the tickets on. Junk, we would give them ten cents per ticket. Shad and I avoid the tears of a child who’s toy just broke on the ride home and the kids walk away with a few bucks in their pockets. It’s a win win! And then this happened:. Me to the kids...

Rebekah's Writings: Spitfire
http://rebekahswritings.blogspot.com/2015/02/spitfire.html
Saturday, February 21, 2015. Today our youngest turns 4. It seems like I was just pregnant with her, but it also feel like 1000 years ago. . Bethany is such a sweet girl. But don’t let this innocent looking face fool you. Bethany is quite the spitfire. . She is full of spunk with a capital S! She does funny things all the time. And when she realizes that we are laughing at her funny thing, she does it about 10 more time. Bethany you are such a cutie pie and we are so happy to have you in our family!
