Saturday, December 15, 2007. This gothic style church is in downtown New Bern. It is very large and somewhat forboding. For some odd reason, the front entrance brings to mind the Spanish Inquisition! Carolina on My Mind. Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Emily has been wanting a puppy for awhile now. The catch was she didn't want the puppy to grow to be as big as Harley. As luck would have it, Shane's aunt's dog which was a shihzu-pekinese had puppies. Ruby was promised to someone else, but that someone wasn't able to take her home, so.she came home with us! Welcome to Heather's place! Thursday, August 30, 2007. See you guys Monday. Charlie is my early riser. No matter what time he goes to bed, he is up around 7am. Luke is my sleeper. He enjoys sleep like a good book, likes to be in bed around 10 and will sleep soundly until 11am the next morning. Carolina on My Mind. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. For Christmas this year, Nana and stinky pop got all the grandkids a swing set. Well, there is one of the grandkids that absolutely LOVES it! McKinley has so much fun on the swings, and sliding, and "she can't reach the monkey bars". I guess time will help that! But for now, look at the smiles on her face from just the swings! THANK YOU NANA AND STINKY POP! Oh my goodness look how big she is. She was so little when I saw her last! Do the kids miss AK?
