About Me - Mark A. Young, Ph.D. When I was 19 or 20, I started thinking it would be great to be a marriage counselor but I assumed you had to be perfect to be one and knew I was far from perfect. Both my brothers went to their in-laws so it was just us, my sister and her kids, my parents and one aunt and uncle. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Time’s a Tickin’ Dance Recital 2012. This year Sydney got to dance in 3 numbers. Her Little Jewels did “Kiss Me” her tap class did “Jailhouse Rock” and the highlight for her was that she got to participate in the finale! 160; It was the 10 year anniversary of the studio so each of the competitive groups did a dance from one of the past themes. Thursday, May 30, 2013. I finally got around to scanning dance pictures. I thought they were quite cute! 160; I didn’t pay for the ballet photos. . .just snapped a couple with my camera. Sunday, October 28, 2012. My little boy just turned 10! The day started with crepes for breakfast. Then he just HAD to bring crumby bars to his class. (These are a Donut Parade special: maple bar with apple pie filling in the middle and old fashioned donut crumble on top! We did cake and presents at home. . Two Rounds of Pumpkins. Round one: with the little ones right after their pumpkin patch field trip. And then Round Two: because Sydney was totally jealous she missed out. Preschool Pumpkin Patch Party.

Saturday, July 28, 2012. Junior Shock Dance Camp. A while ago, we went to a Spokane Shock Football game and I saw this cutie named Kaila that used to be one of my gymnasts. In the program I noticed that the Shock dancers put on a camp for kids and I just had to sign Sydney up. It was a good experience, two days of dance camp followed by a half-time performance at a game. . Hard to see but she has on the short black shorts and an orange headband).
