Masculine by Design: MGTOW vs The Dones
http://masculinebydesign.blogspot.com/2015/05/mgtow-vs-dones.html
Monday, May 18, 2015. MGTOW vs The Dones. American Christianity has its own “going their own way” movement: The Dones. They aren't done with Christianity, but they are done with the institutional church, or what is commonly known as “churchianity.”. John is every pastor’s dream member. He’s a life-long believer, well-studied in the Bible, gives generously, and leads others passionately. A researcher described them this way:. At Group’s recent Future of the Church. They are fatigued with the routine; they...

Masculine by Design: Women's "I Wish He Were Dead" Fantasy
http://masculinebydesign.blogspot.com/2015/02/womens-male-death-fantasy.html
Thursday, February 19, 2015. Women's "I Wish He Were Dead" Fantasy. This is another concept from Warren Farrell's Why Men Are They Way They Are. Farrell noticed a theme running through a number of romance novels. One where the heroine is flashdanced to success, and then the husband dies. Thus, leaving the widow financially independent and free to pursue her dreams and desires without the encumbrance of a husband. Farrell also found this “I wish he were dead” fantasy in advertisements. Subscribe to: Post ...

Masculine by Design: When Pastors Lie
http://masculinebydesign.blogspot.com/2013/12/when-pastors-lie.html
Friday, December 13, 2013. 58% of evangelical leaders say tithing is not required of Christians. That was the result of a survey done by the NAE (National Association of Evangelicals) of their members. Members here refers to the leaders of the various churches that belong to the NAE—the pastors who actually run the church). When was the last time you heard an evangelical church preach that tithing wasn't required? Why would a pastor preach something from the pulpit they don't believe is Biblical? 8220;Wh...

Masculine by Design: So What If He Lives In His Mom's Basement?
http://masculinebydesign.blogspot.com/2014/11/so-what-if-he-lives-in-his-moms-basement.html
Friday, November 28, 2014. So What If He Lives In His Mom's Basement? Are they receiving government welfare payments to support their lifestyle? Are these men demanding the government raise taxes on others, so they can play video games? Are these men out robbing stores or committing other crimes? Oh,but they are taking advantage of their parents! Some feel they are helping their child in tough times; some (particularly single moms) like having a man around the house to help with "man chores" and provide ...

Foolish Mutterings: August 2005
http://foolishmutterings.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
The mutterings of a married man trapped in his life. Nothing of note will happen here. This is simply a way to vent the spleen. Saturday, August 27, 2005. Something to chew on. What is the answer? I don't know. After twelve years of marriage, we have far from a perfect marriage. Actually, there are times I feel we are sliding backwards. I do know I love Wife, and I know she loves me. For now that has to be enough. Posted by aphron @ 6:51 PM. Links to this post. Thursday, August 25, 2005. Aren't kids allo...

Remembering Books | A Pen Full of Vinegar
https://apenfullofvinegar.wordpress.com/2013/07/12/remembering-books
A Pen Full of Vinegar. Who is my ideal reader? Well, ideal means non-existent. I have no notion of whom I’m writing for. Guy Davenport. July 12, 2013. August 8, 2013. 8217; If I had a photographic memory then, of course, life would be different but I do not so it is not. But then I look over to the books I have read, boughten and–I hazily recall–enjoyed. If I had to stop and think I cannot seem to gather more than a dozen facts about them. How peculiar! What is more bizarre is that as I flipped through t...

The Societal Contract | Elephants & Trees
https://elephantsandtrees.wordpress.com//2011/12/06/the-societal-contract
During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. December 6, 2011. January 4, 2012. Men and women are living under a societal contract but because it is an unspoken agreement and not carved on a rock somewhere many people don’t even realize it. Well, many people living. A well-worn but fantastic example of this last responsibility in action is the sinking of the Titanic. In the case of a military draft he will be expected to enlist while a woman of the same age won’t be...

Masculine by Design: Overt Confidence is the Alpha Key
http://masculinebydesign.blogspot.com/2014/02/overt-confidence-is-alpha-key.html
Friday, February 28, 2014. Overt Confidence is the Alpha Key. Which of the following people would you be most likely to follow:. An inept man who was outwardly overconfident in his abilities. A competent man who was humble about his abilities. I'm sure most people picked #2. We all like to think we would make the smart choice, but according to research done by Cameron Anderson. Why is overconfidence so common? Because it works. According to the Anderson studies there seems to be absolutely no penalty...

MEN-FACTOR: June 2015
http://men-factor.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 24, 2015. So, I was talking to an older gentleman the other day. He said, "In my day, the feminists were seriously ugly hags that couldn't get laid - their goal was to drive a wedge between men and women, so they had a better chance at getting sex". I agree - the feminists of his age. The feminists of my age. Come in a variety of flavors (or flavours for my Canadian readers). I won't list them here - we all know they are complete B.S. Let's summarize the feminist movement. I want a weapon...

MEN-FACTOR: April 2015
http://men-factor.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Mr Belvedere Makes the Real Misogynists Stand Up. When I was a kid, I irregularly watched a show called Mr. Belvedere. I did some research, and found an episode that I remembered well. It was called, The Pageant. Here is the YouTube video if you have 21 minutes of free time and want to watch an old sitcom (skip to 17:30 to get to the part I vaguely recall). Mr Belvedere overhears said girls and gives the daughter of his house a lecture (skip to time 17:30 to listen to it).
