Blog about my travels to Ethiopia with Beavers Without Borders- Go Beavs! Today is the day- Coming back to America! We got picked up in school vans and began our 4 hour drive back to Corvallis. We got Subway for our first American meal- EAT FRESH! It was so yummy after not being able to eat fresh fruits and veggies for 2 weeks. We finally arrived home in Corvallis at about 7 pm on Friday- after traveling back in time! Clark (rowing) and Martie (volleyball) boarding our LAST flight! Posted at 11:18 AM.

I mistakenly got a pasta with spicy meat sauce and it was so spicy I couldn’t even finish it- reminiscent of my childhood days when my mom would make food so spicy that I couldn’t eat it! We have to get up at 6 am, and were advised to try to stay up so we could sleep on the 14 hour flight home, so that is why we worked out at midnight. Typical traffic jam in Ethiopia.
