Jeremy's Scrapbook of Pictures: Sebring, Florida
http://desperateoptimism.blogspot.com/2009/05/sebring-florida.html
Jeremy's Scrapbook of Pictures. Saturday, May 9, 2009. Below is a picture of my house from the back. A look at the boathouse from the backyard. A look at the interior of the house, where I complete most of my work. An alligator swimming in the same area in which I had been swimming days before. Thankfully, this one is only a juvenile : ) Can you see its head? And no description of Sebring would be complete without a picture of an amazing sunset. Beautiful! May 11, 2009 at 7:20 AM. Tidbits of Life in Bug: December 2008
http://tidbitsoflifeinbug.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tidbits of Life in Bug. Saturday, December 27, 2008. There are two other tractors and a big road grader in the neighborhood, but their owners don't feel inclined to help out at all. Holly got a new bottle for her doll. Marie was present, bodily at least. Christmas get-together with Steve's family. These pics are frames from my new Flip camcorder (Steve and I agreed not to do gifts for each other, and then he bought me a great little camcorder). Thursday, December 18, 2008. In front of our house. We've be...

Jeremy's Scrapbook of Pictures. Sunday, February 22, 2009. Randy is a musician friend from Axiom, a young adults group from South Shore Community Church that meets weekly. Together, we celebrate friendships, accountability, spearfishing, and birthdays. A few weeks ago, Randy turned forty (he looks much younger, doesn't he? And it was definite cause for a party at my house. From left to right: Andrew, Andy (my roommate), Justin, and Brent. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The weather was perfect. It...

Tidbits of Life in Bug: November 2009
http://tidbitsoflifeinbug.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Tidbits of Life in Bug. Saturday, November 14, 2009. Emily's cupcakes for Harvestfest. Steve was a pretty good sport about wearing a costume that I found. He was supposed to be Moses, but the beard and mustache didn't last long, and he wore pants and a shirt underneath the robe, and he didn't want to wear sandals and carry a staff. Oh well :) Someone said he looked like Led Zeppelin, LOL. Jenna was a bit wary of him. Steph, Danielle, Beth, Megan, Lydia, Laura and Emily. One of the many pumpkins!

I've always been meaning to keep blogging; so sorry about the break there, but things have been really busy at our house. We're almost finished the house we've been renovating, so hopefully we'll have our lives back now :). Dave and Heather's wedding was beautiful! Emily and Laura were guest-book attendants. Steve's mom and grandma. No peck on the cheek here. Ashley was the MC.

Tidbits of Life in Bug: September 2009
http://tidbitsoflifeinbug.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tidbits of Life in Bug. Wednesday, September 16, 2009. With summer, that is :) We're enjoying these last bits of sun and warmth here and there, because the nights are telling us it's already fall. We went to Clear Lake Beach a few days ago with Shalom and family, and it was hot and we had the whole place to ourselves. The kids went canoeing all day with some of Shalom's kids and Esther, and had so much fun! Tired out after a long day of swimming. Holly didn't even make it all the way up the stairs! We di...

Tidbits of Life in Bug: July 2008
http://tidbitsoflifeinbug.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Tidbits of Life in Bug. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. My parents are here. And they brought beautiful weather with them! Child labor at its finest, ha ha. I guess sturdy Dutch kids are good for something :). We never tire of visiting Washington Park, always so beautiful. There were lots of blueberries and salmonberries to pick. Mount Baker in the background! Saturday, July 5, 2008. Holly repeated her swelling reaction from last year almost exactly to the day, poor thing. This time it was on both her legs n...

Tidbits of Life in Bug: October 2009
http://tidbitsoflifeinbug.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Tidbits of Life in Bug. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Great Wolf Lodge water. I don't clean with bleach very often, but a few days ago I was using it. Holly sniffed, and said, "Mommy, you are using Great Wolf Lodge water! Nice that she can associate such an unpleasant smell with such fun memories :). Ways Marie exhibits her wacky and weird personality. This is not an unusual sight. Jenna must have been pretty tired. It was so cute to see her rest her head on the table! Emily's 3rd cake. Any ideas? Gardens a...

Jeremy's Scrapbook of Pictures: Florida's Fantastic Flora and Fauna Revisited
http://desperateoptimism.blogspot.com/2009/02/floridas-fantastic-flora-and-fauna.html
Jeremy's Scrapbook of Pictures. Sunday, February 22, 2009. Florida's Fantastic Flora and Fauna Revisited. Well, if this won't get everyone from up north down for a visit, I don't know what will! There's a great blue heron on top of my house! Perhaps my brothers (or Father) can help me to identify this hawk. they were ever-so-helpful with my first post. : ). Two turkey vultures mating on the same roof upon which the heron had alighted earlier. A picture of a largemouth bass at a nearby lake. A long ride i...
