Wind Cave | sogni d'oro
http://lizvander.blogspot.com/2015/08/wind-cave.html
We set out for Wind Cave National Park. Hoping/racing to get there in time for the last cave tour of the day. When we called early in the day to confirm information about tours, the ranger assured us that they always had plenty of room in the last few tours of the day; it rarely, if ever, sells out. Or so he told us. We left the Badlands a little later than intended, and only upon our departure discovered the GPS ETA was nowhere close to (or concise as) our initial estimate. Adrienne. So now with our nee...

Friendsgiving 2013 | sogni d'oro
http://lizvander.blogspot.com/2013/11/friendsgiving-2013.html
Friendsgiving began last year. When Adrienne received a free turkey from her employers and we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving with a group of our friends. Hooray for the second annual Friendsgiving! I really love when our traditions continue despite the inevitable nomadic ways of college students and recent graduates.). This is mostly for my sister. Who loves puns more than most). I'm thankful for dear friends and this evening which was the very best. And for the puppy who joined us.). Look at the stars.

Friendsgiving 2014 | sogni d'oro
http://lizvander.blogspot.com/2015/08/friendsgiving-2014.html
Friendsgiving was forever ago but I was looking for these photos the other day and turns out I never posted any of them. I am feeling a little nostalgic as last night we had a going-away party for Adrienne, and Quinton showed up as a surprise guest all the way from Washington, DC! Change it hard and it is not always welcome, but I am grateful for the times in the past when it has been followed with trips to visit and group texts and happy memories in between. Portland / the city | sogni d'oro
http://lizvander.blogspot.com/2014/07/portland-city.html
Portland / the city. I spent the 4th of July weekend roadtripping to and from Portland with Adrienne, Jess, and Preston. The Pacific Northwest is so beautiful and unique. Possibly my favorite part of exploring Portland was the hour spent in Powell's Books. In NYC, another favorite, the bookstore takes up a whole city block! Adrienne and I are obsessed with labradoodles/goldendoodles and saw SO MANY in Portland. Happiness. We also stopped by Saturday's Market, one of Jess's favorite Portland spots. A penn...

festeggiamo | sogni d'oro
http://lizvander.blogspot.com/2012/12/festeggiamo.html
The week before Thanksgiving, Adrienne got a free turkey from her work which we cooked for "Friendsgiving" and we had an almost complete Thanksgiving dinner! This was especially timely since Emily and I went to San Francisco for Thanksgiving, so we were able to participate in traditional Thanksgiving festivities beforehand. I don't have a good photo, but we made these chocolate and peanut butter acorns. For the fall party and they were a hit. Thanks, Martha.). And "What do you love about winter/Christmas?

Downtown SLC Farmers Market = a must. | sogni d'oro
http://lizvander.blogspot.com/2015/08/downtown-slc-farmers-market-must.html
Downtown SLC Farmers Market = a must. Food is one of my favorite things and farmers markets fall under that category (my Garden-state upbringing may have something to do with it as well). Last summer when my family was in town, we stopped by. The SLC farmers market in between Salt Lake goings-on, which is when I originally tasted/discovered Ruby Snap. Or San Francisco or New York (I'm lookin' at you, Union Square Greenmarket). Sure, Salt Lake didn't have local salami, but Tony Caputo's is across the stre...

Nice cool. different. A natural result of my loving European. In Europe is noticing them here. These railings that I saw in downtown Provo, however, are exceptionally great. Any guesses why? Why, there are the deathly hallows. September 6, 2011 at 1:26 PM. Thats totally awesome. Are they apartments? Because I would totally live there just for that. September 7, 2011 at 8:01 PM. Thats the funny thing about it, it was a business and not apartments! Subscribe to: Post Comments ( Atom ). Anne of Green Gables.
