Sunday, August 22, 2010. This summer we were happy to have Dane's sister Heidi, and nephew Braden come out to visit. Alicia went to Universal with them one day and they did the new Harry Potter land. It was awesome! Then all four of us went to Gatorland and Sea World too. We had so much fun with them. Braden came out a month later to audition for a great performing arts school and was accepted! Now Heidi and Braden are moving to Jacksonville and we are so excited to have family living only two hours away.

Sunday, February 12, 2012. Things have been a little hectic around here and have finally slowed down. So, what have we been up to? In May, Dane hit his minimum flight hours to apply for the airlines. This has been a huge goal of ours for a very long time. You could say we were a little excited and Dane submitted his application to SkyWest (who he has been wanting to work for for a while now). Friday, August 28, 2009. Dane's Graduation and Visit from Mom. Dane finally graduated flight school this week! It has been over a year and a whole lot of loans in the making but we made it. He was hired by his flight school to be a flight instructor and will be instructing new students for the next year or two. I am so proud of him! His mom also came out for the graduation and it was such a great surprise to have her here for this special event. Here is a short video of his graduation speech:.

Tuesday, September 22, 2009. This last weekend we made a trip up to Philadelphia to visit Alicia's sister Emily and her family. It was an amazing trip! We saw the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Valley Forge, and were able to see some of the city of Phily. My favorite part was Independence Hall. I was able to actually stand in the very room that the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were signed! Here is a video of our fun day! Posted by Dane and Alicia. Saturday, April 16, 2011. What we have been up to? For New Years Eve we went up to Anastasia Beach with Heidi and Braden. There were tons of different food, a live band, and fire works off the pier over the Atlantic ocean . It was a lot. Of fun. Then we went back to Heidi's and had yummy drinks (virgin daiquiris. we are soo cool :}). I have a better plan." Now Dane is out of the military and ever closer to working for the airlines. March was our 5 year anniversary. Seriously, where does the time go?

Wednesday, July 29, 2009. IM DONE IM DONE IM DONE IM DONE IM DONE! Today I passed my Instrument Flight Instructor FAA checkride. Its the last flight I did as a student! It has been over a year in waiting and now I'm finally done. Tomorrow I go in to set up a date to do my interview with the school and I will find out in a week or two if they will hire me. Sunday, April 26, 2009. So we have been really bad and haven't post for almost a month sorry. Here is what has been going on with us. Back in March we went to a space shuttle launch and that was a blast; ha ha, get it, a blast! So it really was amazing to see. It was a lot of fun. We went to a Trace Atkins concert and it was so fun but there were so many people. A tall guy with a cowboy hat tried to go in front of us but Dane wouldn't let him! Posted by Dane and Alicia.
