January 21 - went in for surgery to remove nasal polyps, discovered to be a tumor. January 27 - diagnosed with ENB, Stage 2 cancer. February 9 - 5:45 AM arrived at hospital. 7:30 AM rolled into surgery. 8:30 PM surgery completed and tumor entirely removed. February 10 - discharged from ICU and moved to general hospital room. February 11 - cleared by physical therapy and walking without assistance. February 12 - celebrated my 27th birthday with family and friends. February 14 - released from hospital.

My journey from diagnosis to recovery involved countless hours of research on ENB and its treatment options. Much of the research points to standard craniofacial surgeries with sad tales of pain and prolonged recovery. However, there is emerging research on endoscopic endonasal surgery. This minimally-invasive approach promises to increase the quality of life for patients diagnosed with ENB and other tumors in the sinus cavity and skull base.
