Something struck me tonight as I was driving home with a friend; there was this song playing in the background - one of my favorites - and I realized that this song, in that moment, was for me. The last few months I have had this rebellious teenage-esque relationship with Christ. Me wanting to assert my own knowledge, skill, and independence and God saying "don't turn away.". Why are you striving these days. Why are you trying to earn grace. Why are you crying. Just don't turn away.
