My 5 weeks in Africa! Thursday, June 21, 2007. Back in Dar es Salaam. After a long day of travelling yesterday (5 hours to Morogoro from Ifakara and 4 more hours from Morogoro to Dar es Salaam), we've finally arrived! We're back where we started and I am glad to be back to visit with old friends who were our first encounters here in Tanzania! My 5 weeks in Africa! Saturday, June 9, 2007. Today was an exhausting day, but still amazing! Since my companions are all older than me (by at least 30 years each- but who's keeping track, I like them anyway! It was such an accomplishment for them to all make it across the river and onto the top of the rocks safely! My 5 weeks in Africa! Thursday, July 5, 2007. In Dar es Salaam Again! We were escorted then, by Fr. Whitman, a Benedictan, to our temporary place of stay for a short night. It was a small house right next to the ocean so Banzi and I went for a short swim as the sun set. Theo picked us up for dinner then and we had another great time with him eating next to the beach. Our food was ready and we had to hurry and eat in order to get back on the bus to go. Oh I am very blessed! That would be truly wonderful!
