Friday, February 13, 2015. Two weeks, Love. Two weeks today since we were in the doctors office, being told you didn’t have a heartbeat anymore. My body failed you. I couldn’t keep you from harm. I couldn’t help you grow to be healthy and strong. I miss the way my body felt. The soreness in my chest, the way I could pick up every smell that made me feel sick to my stomach, and yes, even the bloating.because it all let me know you were there. You were growing. I miss you, Love. My heart longs for you.

Sunday, September 29, 2013. Branson 70.3 Race Report - 2013. Everything happens for a reason. That was the only thing I could tell myself during the Rev3 Branson 70.3 race last week. I had trained so hard for this event. I was strong and well prepared. I was equipped with a race plan to execute a great race.and most importantly, grab a PR run. I knew I could place in my division if I stayed smart and followed the plan. But things rarely ever go according to plan. Especially during 70.3 miles of racing.

This is my experience of training, racing, and life! Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Swim 2.4 miles, Bike 112 mi, Run 26.2 miles-Brag for the rest of your life! Ironman Texas Race Report. I tried aggressive rehab for about 1 week while continuing to swim; it helped a little, but not much. I decided to take a solid 2 weeks off from swimming. Due to moving a week before the race and not having access to a pool, it turned into a 3 week break! I also swallowed a few gulps and it was AWFUL! I had swam 2.4 miles!

This weekend I competed in the OKC Redman 70.3, the 5th race of my 2012 season, and my 2nd attempt at this distance(my 1st was IM Kansas 70.3, you can see that race report here. The day I had walked into the doctor’s office for my last ultrasound, filled with hope and promises, only to be told my baby’s heart had stopped beating.
