Perhaps if the question were, would you rather be poor and in love, or rich without? I would probably choose poor and in love. Money can buy a lot of things, it can even buy happiness for a while. But to miss out on something like love, would be like a crime. But in a situation like this, of course I would rather be rich. Of Mice and Men.
