When a friend contacted me about getting some tickets to a One Direction concert in Tulsa, I thought it would make a great birthday gift for our girl! One thing we've learned throughout our years of Army travel.when you connect with really good people, you hang on to those relationships long after you leave! Georgia On My Mind. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. FINALLY.R came home from Germany in July. It has been a long year of separation for our family, and we are so glad to have him back! I arranged a surprise welcome party for him at the airport, and we had quite the turnout! We have so many great friends here in Edmond, and they are always here for us when we need them. And thanks to Katy we have these great pictures of the welcome party at the airport! R was VERY surprised! High Fives for the kids.

Georgia On My Mind. Monday, March 30, 2015. Fall Break- Sea World. We had big plans for Fall break! But what our little guy DOES enjoy is ocean animals! So we thought we would scale his trip down a bit and head down to San Antonio to Sea World. It was the perfect choice! I know I say it all the time, but I simply cannot believe it has been 7 years since we welcomed this little guy into our family! Georgia On My Mind. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Finishing off the summer. As soon as we got home from our beach vacation, Little R had a week of British Soccer Camp. I think he would have been much more excited about it if we hadn't been away from home for a week, and if it hadn't been so VERY HOT! There's ALWAYS something to laugh about with Little R around! Grandma and Grandpa Craig also stopped in for a visit. We spent the day at Frontier City, and had tons of fun! Again, it was VERY HOT!

Georgia On My Mind. Friday, January 31, 2014. We saw A LOT of snow in Germany. We didn't expect to see much snow once we moved back to Oklahoma, so this was a nice surprise for the kids. Me, not so much. I'm not a fan of the snow. It's wet, it's cold, and it's messy. But I do enjoy watching my kiddos have fun in it! Georgia On My Mind. Thursday, July 9, 2015. Little R's school has a small Veteran's Day program each year. This year they recognized veterans during their morning assembly time, and then served doughnuts in the cafeteria after. Little R was so excited that Daddy got to come this year. Last year he was in Germany, and little R took a picture of him up on stage.and cried. This year was much happier! Little R decked out in his red, white and blue! He was one happy boy!
