WholeHearted Mama: April 2011
http://wholeheartedmama.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Living, Loving, and Learning as a Family. Friday, April 22, 2011. Davin was reading from "Our Island Story" in his room. When he was done, he came out and told me, "Mama, I think I'm going to make a Britain war chariot out of Legos some time.". If we weren't reading books from the Ambleside Online curriculum, I don't think he would know what a Britain war chariot is and what it looked like.I know that it's something I never learned! Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Links to this post. Science Explo...

Living, Loving, and Learning as a Family. Sunday, June 5, 2011. Day 7: The Curse {31 days to clean}. Day 7: The Curse (What We're Up Against). I had a bit of a hard time understanding this chapter and I do not claim to be an expert in the realm of theology! To the woman he said,. 8220;I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;. With painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband,. And he will rule over you.” (Genesis 3:16). I really liked that quote! Against ...

Living, Loving, and Learning as a Family. Saturday, February 9, 2013. My parents were kind enough to take Mike and I out to eat last week. We for a babysitter and left all 4 kids at home for the first time! We had such a nice time. Here are my beautiful parents:. My husband and I. I was giggling while Mike was being interviewed :). I'm so thankful for this fun weekend we had! It's not often that we are away from our kids for an evening, so 2 nights out in a row was very rare! Links to this post.

WholeHearted Mama: January 2014
http://wholeheartedmama.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Living, Loving, and Learning as a Family. Thursday, January 9, 2014. Read Alouds and other news. We finished another great read aloud today called "The Little Duke" by Charlotte Yonge. It had Davin and I in tears at the second to last chapter but ended well! Reading to the kids is my favorite part of our home school, and I'll always cherish this time with them. :). In December we read "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, and they loved having a candy cane during this time! What else have we been up to?

WholeHearted Mama: Our Daily Routine
http://wholeheartedmama.blogspot.com/2014/04/our-daily-routine.html
Living, Loving, and Learning as a Family. Tuesday, April 1, 2014. This is our natural routine right now, liable and likely to change at a moment's notice ;) Flexibility is necessary in this line of work! With a newborn, he is basically still attached to me (nursing, in the Moby wrap, or lounging in the bassinet nearby); so I can still go about our day and do what needs to be done. The gist of our school day is:. Short storytime with little ones while Davin does his basic subjects. 7:30 or 8 am. They can ...

WholeHearted Mama: August 2014
http://wholeheartedmama.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Living, Loving, and Learning as a Family. Friday, August 15, 2014. Yay, I was so excited to see my first Stitch Fix arrive today! My 6 year old, Dori, was nice enough to be my photographer. First, I tried on this maxi skirt because I knew right away that I would love it! I love the colors and pattern and it's actually not too long on me, which is so nice. It's hard to find maxi skirts that don't have to be hemmed for me! I think the jeans are a pretty good fit! Here is a link to Stitch Fix. I picked up s...
