We closed on a new house! Spring has always been a favorite time of year for me, and this year is no exception. It's been very warm and vibrant with lots happening all at once. Today also marks one year at my new job, and it is going better than I'd imagined - I am really enjoying the responsibility, but it's certainly keeping me busy! Can't wait to get settled in! Engineering Eileen: happy memories

http://www.engineeringeileen.blogspot.com/2011/12/happy-memories.html

On a snowy December 12 in Cleveland eight years ago, Steve and I met in a bar. On a rainy December 12 in Chicago five years ago, he asked me to marry him. In terms of anniversaries, we generally just stick to celebrating our wedding one now, but I definitely get sentimental on this date (if you couldn't tell from last year's post! It's a good day to relive some happy memories. He's traveling for work and I miss him as usual, lately so I had fun looking through some old photos :). Night we got engaged!

Engineering Eileen: snow day

http://www.engineeringeileen.blogspot.com/2012/02/snow-day.html

Apparently I find snow in February much more exciting when it only happens once in the month, on a gray cold day nestled between two sunny spring like ones. We had nowhere to go today, so the snow was an excuse to stay home and take it easy. It was peaceful, watching the fat flakes drift down and seeing the white pile up on the trees and in the yard. For now, I can look out at the snow and be grateful that tomorrow's sunny 48 degrees will melt it away - and spring won't be too far behind.

Engineering Eileen: Adventures of an EngiNerd: Life as a Biomedical Engineer

http://www.engineeringeileen.blogspot.com/2009/11/adventures-of-enginerd-life-as.html

Adventures of an EngiNerd: Life as a Biomedical Engineer. Well, I said I didn’t want to define myself as solely an engineer on this blog, and yet, this is the first picture I post. Seems a good way to define myself as a nerd, anyway! The picture gives a good glimpse into life in a biomedical engineering lab. So what are all these things attached to my arm? So why should anyone care about these things? November 23, 2009 at 10:21 PM. Hey, this is good. i like this picture, eileen! My job does involve a lot...

Engineering Eileen: this day

http://www.engineeringeileen.blogspot.com/2010/12/this-day.html

FB @ FabulouslyBroke.com. December 14, 2010 at 10:32 AM. That is such a sweet story. I LOVED reading it! December 14, 2010 at 11:48 AM. Glad you enjoyed it :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I have wanted to be a writer since I was about 7 years old. Instead, I became a biomedical engineer. My job does involve a lot of writing, but in a pretty formal format. This blog is a little space for me to let my words be free. You can read more about me here. Thanks for stopping by!

Greenfield Romito's News: Ocean City 2014

http://greenfieldromitosnews.blogspot.com/2014/07/ocean-city-2014.html

Friday, July 11, 2014. Our week in Ocean City was oceans of fun! It was a whirlwind, but we had gorgeous weather, lots of family time, a very small amount of sleep, and made lots of memories. Here is a tasting of our week. We played several courses of mini golf. Josh also got a kick out of hitting the ball. He loved picking up everyone's balls and putting it in the hole. Luke was SOO excited to go fishing in salt water. He went a few times with Daddy and Grandpop. Here they are fishing in the bay. We can...

http://greenfieldromitosnews.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 18, 2014. A belated Happy Father's Day to Dante, as well as our dads, Godfathers, and Grandfathers! We hope you had a sweet celebration! We had a great trip to Idlewild before Katherine and Marie moved to NJ! It is so cute to watch the cousins interact and play with one another! The bumper cars were a big "hit". I LOVE this picture. Josh was scared to death. ;). The boys spun these tea cups like crazy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mike and Jo Travel Babble. The Busy Budgeting Mama.

Monday, February 4, 2013. 2 Month Check Up. A sweet picture of the two boys. Luke absolutely adores Joshua, and Joshua is just beginning to really enjoy watching Luke. :). Happy (Belated) Birthday Uncle Dave! Since almost a week (5 days) has gone by and Mommy and Daddy STILL have not done a blog post for you, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Happy Birthday! We hope you had a great day and enjoyed celebrating with you that evening. We hope the year ahead is great. :). 2 Month Check Up.

Greenfield Romito's News: May 2014

http://greenfieldromitosnews.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 30, 2014. Back at the Blog. We took a little vacation from blogging. (Not quite 1 year.) Now that the Blocks are moving out of the state, we have a new motivation to keep up blogging so that we can keep in touch. Over the next month I'll probably upload some random pictures from the last year. Otherwise we'll keep you posted about our exciting life. ;). Josh just loved running around, playing with sticks and picking dandelions. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Back at the Blog.

Way Too Nerdy Thursdays :: A Weekly Theme Has Been Born | Life at Twenty-Two

https://lifeattwentytwo.wordpress.com/2010/03/04/way-too-nerdy-thursdays-a-weekly-theme-has-been-born

I don't know where I'm headed, but I'll know it when I get there. Laquo; Did You Not Read The Memo? 10 Reasons Why I Hate the Spring. Way Too Nerdy Thursdays : A Weekly Theme Has Been Born. Engineers get a bad rap. We’re stereotyped as full out geeks: complete with taped glasses, poor fashion sense, pocket protectors, and nonexistant social skills. I little like my engineering friend Charlie:. Just kidding. He dressed up like this for Halloween. At least I think. We are well versed in integration, differ...

Greenfield Romito's News: July 2013

http://greenfieldromitosnews.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 4, 2013. We were able to join Aunt Mary, Andrew and Alex for fishing at Schenley Pond the morning of July 4th. Luke and Dante actually caught a wee little fish (if you look closely)! Luke has really been looking forward to July 4th to run the Greenfield races again. Last year he barely wanted to run, but after he won a little prize, he's been talking about participating all year. He did not win this year, but he was happy because he knows he did his best. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Greenfield Romito's News: October 2012

http://greenfieldromitosnews.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Luke has been sooo excited to carve our pumpkins. He had made another trip to Schramm's Farm with Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa and picked out a white "ghost pumpkin". He was a bit surprised at how slimy the guts were when scooping out the pumpkins, but enjoyed holding onto our hands as we carved them out according to his designs. It turns out one of those little pumpkin carving sets was a $4 very well spent! Proud helper. :). Thursday, October 25, 2012. Fall Picnic at the Park.

Greenfield Romito's News: Camping

http://greenfieldromitosnews.blogspot.com/2013/06/camping.html

Sunday, June 30, 2013. We took a little 2 day trip down to Ohiopyle area to do a little "camping" and fishing. Luke was thrilled about the prospect of camping, but we decided it would be easier to stay in a cabin with 2 young boys. We found a very family friendly campground. And given the severe thunderstorms overnight that night I was sooo happy we went with a cabin. We went fishing in 3 different places. No one caught a fish, but it was a really fun trip despite the rain. At our picnic lunch.
