Engineering Judgement: A little update to give some context to the following post(s)
http://engineeringjudgement.blogspot.com/2011/01/little-update-to-give-some-context-to.html
Intellectual musings of an engineering student at Bath University. Friday, January 07, 2011. A little update to give some context to the following post(s). However. I have recently enjoyed reading Le Franco Phoney. By a fellow immigrant to this same corner of France, concerning her observations on French life. It’s brought my attention back to my own, neglected blog and so I plan to put a little time into occasional updates from now on, as the mood strikes me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Engineering Judgement: March 2009

Intellectual musings of an engineering student at Bath University. Sunday, March 08, 2009. Time Machine in the Finder toolbar. Did you miss me? Never mind, don't answer that. I had just decided that the menubar is a silly place for a shortcut to Time Machine, and that I'd much rather a button in the Finder toolbar next to the QuickLook button. A cursory Google reminded me that you can drag and drop any Finder item onto the toolbar, and that someone's already made a nice icon. To download the icon.
Engineering Judgement: September 2008
http://engineeringjudgement.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Intellectual musings of an engineering student at Bath University. Thursday, September 25, 2008. In the last few days, I have added over 50 new friends on Facebook, mainly those who live with me at Brendon Court. There are more appearing every day too. Now that I "know" so many people, some very surprising links are appearing. For example, one of the Fresher's Week crew at Brendon is acquainted with two. Of the people that I met while on a Year in Industry, neither of whom are currently at Bath. Tourism ...

March 11, 2009 at 3:46 pm. I concur. It’s been a long time since I’ve done a Digger archive trawl (doing it again now that it’s free to the public, and very excited at the prospect! Moon and Raven: Change! Now!
http://moonandraven.blogspot.com/2009/06/change-now.html
Musings of an Insular Gaul. Monday, 1 June 2009. Damnit, it would be good to be able to work with a group and perform/channel/direct magic for useful and world changing purposes. How many Pagans are against deforestation? How many are against whaling? How many are against tyrants in Africa? And where are the groups working serious magic in order to bring positive and meaningful change. Individual people can do things - but how much better,. How much more powerful. Would it be to have groups doing this?

Musings of an Insular Gaul. Monday, 18 May 2009. In with the Goddesses. Whilst never having having had a. Link with any deity, I mused about how it would be to be totally consumed by a deity - something along the lines of William James's. Ah, I love control! Surround me wholly in the whirlwind of your starless night. I hope t...

http://moonandraven.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Musings of an Insular Gaul. Monday, 8 November 2010. Long time, no see. Hullo O Vast Blogosphere,. It has been but a long time since we've spoken. O how I have missed your camaradery. Well, I'm single; I'm studying Religious Studies rather than Philosophy now; I'm now attuned in SKHM healing; I live in a house that's not falling apart; one the whole, though, I'm rather darned happy. So that's the update. Now onto Pagan stuff. Yay! I came to the conclusion that that being was Óðinn. The form presented, ho...
Moon and Raven: Magical problems?
http://moonandraven.blogspot.com/2009/07/magical-problems.html
Musings of an Insular Gaul. Saturday, 4 July 2009. Just a short one for today. Now why is it that Pagans are able to erect a magical. Barrier which can exclude. Unwanted beings for entering; can dance around circles and raise such a large amount of mana/magic that when sent off, it can almost do anything (such as Gardner/Crowley/Whoever protecting the British Isles in during the Second World. http://moonandraven.blogspot.com/2009/05/elements-of-magic-air.html

Deepen your relationship to each element and sharpen your witchy skills – learn some new ones! The blurb goes on to say. The Silent Voice was perhaps the most bizarre. Rather than air coming through the vocal chords, one must produced a. Deep vibration in the chest as close to the heart chakra as one can manage. Another useful skills we were taught was using our associations with t...

Moon and Raven: Gastronomy
http://moonandraven.blogspot.com/2009/06/gastronomy.html
Musings of an Insular Gaul. Saturday, 6 June 2009. After having a meal in the Cwmanne with Erin and talking about poetry, I wrote a new poem, after the gods know how long. It originally started as a food poem:. Food Everyone needs food;. It is the weakness of hunger,. The strength of a fine feast! And, though much of a pleasure,. It shall always be a glorious art. As synonymous as the words seem,. Pleasure is the danger of art -. Its culmunation often mischanneled. To lose oneself in art is pleasure.
