Hondura Azul, Esteli. Engineering Without Boundaries partnered with Bridges to Prosperity (B2P), an international organization that provides isolated communities with access to essential services by building footbridges over impassable rivers. In May 2011, 18 NMSU students journeyed to the community of Hondura Azul, Nicaragua and completed a 185-ft suspended pedestrian bridge. The project benefited over 100 families by providing access to schools, healthcare and markets in the nearby city.
Camp Hope

Las Cruces, NM. Beginning in 2012, Camp Hope had been Engineering Without Boundaries' primary, local project. Camp Hope is an alternative transitional living project, for the homeless provided in the form of camping. The object was to rezone and improve the campground in order to be in compliance with all city code requirements. This project was completed as of the fall of 2014.

Santa Teresa, Esteli. Engineering Without Boundaries-NMSU partnered with Bridges to Prosperity, for the third time, to provide a pedestrian bridge rehabilitation for the community of Santa Teresa. A total of 15 students, 2 faculty members, and 3 alumni were sent to rehab a 50-meter bridge which spanned the Rio Pire.
