Crisis | Chez Julie
https://chezjulie.wordpress.com/2013/01/18/crisis
Bye-bye, Holiday Break! Worried Sick →. January 18, 2013. M Hubby’s job burnout triggered some things for him, and we have been dealing with it this past week. If you want more details, please e-mail me. My January started off with a flurry of organizing and cutting out sugar, and that has all kind of gone by the wayside. I am hoping this weekend to get back to exercising and eating properly and some self-care. And putting away the Christmas decorations. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Kittens at Six Months Old | Chez Julie
https://chezjulie.wordpress.com/2013/01/30/kittens-at-six-months-old
Kitties in a Hammock →. Kittens at Six Months Old. January 30, 2013. At six months, the kittens are starting to look more like little cats, particularly Major. His face is getting more cat-like and his body has streeeeeetched out. They love to wrestle and chase and play together. This picture absolutely cracks me up. Rooney has such a soft fluffy bottom, and he is so limply splayed out across his brother’s stomach. Note the “paw across the face” move that Major is engaged in. They prefer to burrow. They ...

Fatinah - My Life: Part Deux: July 2009
http://fatinah.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Fatinah - My Life: Part Deux. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Blog Reading - what's the point? Sometimes I wonder why I read blogs. It is time spent on my ass. Not moving. Then I have a day like today, where every blog I read jumps right out at me. Blogged about confidence. Of course, we find some confidence when we lose those extra pounds, but what about finding confidence in other accomplishments? The parts that people can't touch, but see every day? Monday, July 27, 2009. On Top of the World! This is the vi...

Fatinah - My Life: Part Deux: January 2010
http://fatinah.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Fatinah - My Life: Part Deux. Saturday, January 30, 2010. Personal Growth and a Weigh In. Major personal growth happening here! I was raised to feed a cold. For the first time in my adult life, I was sick (for 2 weeks now) and I DID NOT GAIN WEIGHT. This is huge for me. It turns out that if you don't stuff your face - you will still eventually get better. Who knew? I'm not kidding - normally a period of illness this long would easily, easily result in a 5 - 7 lb gain. I'm thinking I may even put makeup o...

Peeking Out | Chez Julie
https://chezjulie.wordpress.com/2013/09/09/peeking-out
Kitties in a Hammock. Healthy Hausfrau →. September 9, 2013. Rooney peeking out from under the covers. When I titled this post, I was actually thinking about. Being the one who is peeking out, reengaging with my body and maybe my blog. Then I realized I couldn’t post after such a long absence without providing another kitten photo! Although the “kittens” are now a year old and some change). And this photo of little Rooney peeking out from inside the bedding seemed to fit thematically. Kitties in a Hammock.

A Whole30 Breakfast →. March 10, 2014. Easy Skillet Lasagna (with Mushrooms, Onions, and Leeks). After several years of not being able to wrap my head around being healthy, I’m in a good place now and working on improving my diet. I’m meeting with my therapist every couple of weeks about my progress, I’ve joined a DietBet for motivation, and I’m tracking what I eat on MyFitnessPal. So I just felt like sharing that, and also I’ll include a cute picture of Rooney and Major. Which was not. 8221; Hehe. P...

Newer posts →. Bye-bye, Holiday Break! January 6, 2013. Once again, it is time for one of my favorite sentences from one of my favorite books,. Bridget Jones’s Diary:. 8220;It seems wrong and unfair that Christmas, with its stressful and unmanageable financial and emotional challenges, should first be forced upon one wholly against one’s will, then rudely snatched away just when one is starting to get into it. Saw my brother and his family who were in from out-of-town. Saw my brother-in-law and his family.
