Shooting an elephant response. April 21, 2015. In the short story Shooting an Elephant George Orwell claims that all issues are political but in this short story there are issues that range from being nonpolitical at all, political and even issues that go beyond political. These issues are important to me in the way I too deal with internal conflicts and think about what society expects from me instead of weighing out the pros and cons and doing what seems to be more logical. I don’t really have any hobbies some times when I have time and I find an interesting book I read. I also enjoy working out, I need to exercise to release the stress that I carry throughout the day. I do have a social life every other weekend I go out with friends have some drinks and dance why not I’m just like everyone else.
