Monday, January 27, 2003. Hi people - sorry it's been so long. I've been back at work which is always energy/time consuming, but it's also been quite heavy work emotionally and spiritually so it's kind of been too 'in the middle of it' to write anything. Turns out. god is amazing and faithful, but when we're having a hard time how long do we blunder on for before we stop and ask God for help? We want jesus to be present and real in our everyday lives, but how much room do we leave him? Whew - considering...

Tuesday, October 29, 2002. It's a story of redemption as the house used to be full of junk and rubbish, broken boarded up windows and weeds accumulating outside. Then a builder bought it and did it up, and then I bought it. When I moved in it was painted head to toe in magnolia (a dirty cream colour) - not really the rainbow colours of the kingdom! So God bless and let the dancing start to begin. Posted by jen mickelborough at 12:03 am. Another time and place. This blog is no longer u. Lone star state .

Thursday, March 24, 2005. Why is it that films let me know how beautiful I am? My life has become a fairy tale, my house is a palace, I am a princess. it's wonderful to know. oh, that I could keep hold of it better. films scratch away the surface, looking for the truth. I think they do a good job of finding them - whatever they may be. and I find the love of my ever-loving, all-loving god in films. I like it. Posted by jen mickelborough at 10:57 am. That's something I could do every day! Stuck some washing out, then we went along to the Embrun wave. The campsite dwellers are on change over this weekend as one group goe...

Just click on the photos to see them properly. or have a look on my Facebook. Sunday, September 30, 2007. The Quiet City - Tikal. At 3am I rolled out of bed and struggled in the dark to collect my gear for the sunrise tour of Tikal, an hour's bus drive away. I joined the ranks of other weary gringos wanting a mystical experience in one of the cradles of civilisation. As always, I hoped it would live up to the considerable hype. Friday, September 28, 2007. To All New Arrivals. Has anybody got a pen? The n...

Just click on the photos to see them properly. or have a look on my Facebook. Sunday, August 23, 2009. Entering Brunei was a mission almost larger than the country itself. Although it has a free attitude to visas, the was a markedly different opinion about H1N1 and bringing in Bibles or alcohol. After dancing in front of a body heat camera and emptying our bags completely, Hyun and I entered the small Islamic sultanate with a view to spending a single night in the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan. What Suter...
